Based on the book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker.
Release Date: To be announced. Mindhunter. Season 2 started shooting in April 2018, and production is scheduled to go on at least until Christmas, very possibly until March of 2019. It could premiere in Autumn 2019.
Mindhunter. Season 2 will feature Jonathan Groff (Looking), Holt McCallanay (Sully), and Anna Torv (Fringe).
This season will have 8 episodes, but both the premiere and the finale will be 2 hours long.
David Fincher (Gone Girl, The Social Network, Zodiac) is directing the 2 hour long episodes 1 and 8, Andrew Dominik (The Assassination of Jesse James, Killing Me Softly) is directing 2 episodes, and Carl Franklin (Devil In A Blue Dress, One False Move), 4 episodes.
Fincher, Joshua Donen (Gone Girl, The Quick and the Dead) Charlize Theron (Girlboss, Hatfields & McCoys), and Cean Chaffin (Gone Girl, Fight Club) are Executive Producers.
